A competitive New York City Borough President campaign is seeking a Call Time Manager to lead a robust call time program on a fast-moving progressive campaign.
Who We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate is:
- Experienced: You've worked enough in fundraising to know how to staff a principal making fundraising calls for hours at a time. You understand the value of discretion, and you have strong judgment skills. If you haven't staffed call time before, you're ready to spend the majority of your time developing and honing that skill;
- Rigorously detail-oriented: You're the kind of person who double-checks your work, and who catches every single spelling mistake and error in a document. You're super organized—you're great at managing your own calendar, plus someone else's too;
- Communicative: You thrive in an environment with clear communication and strict structure, and help define those things when either or both are amorphous. You have excellent writing and communications skills. You're able to work independently, and to report back to a team.
- Flexible: Campaigns are fast-paced small teams, and you understand that schedules may change, and that campaign staffers wear many hats.
Responsibilities
The Call Time Manager will report directly to the Finance Director. They will work closely with leadership and the candidate, including:
- Staffing the candidate during call time
- Evaluating the success of the call time program, working with leadership to optimize call time strategy
- Identifying and researching new donor prospects and cultivating current supporters
- Conducting donor follow-up, including chase calls and thank you notes
- Assisting with finance and reporting tasks as needed, including data entry and events
- Helping with other aspects of the campaign as necessary
- 1+ cycles of campaign experience (can include volunteer or intern experience)
- Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, Calendar
- Strong writing and communication skills
This is a full time remote position with a competitive salary. Compensation for this position is commensurate with experience, with a base of $3,500 per month.
Applications will be considered on a rolling basis and the campaign seeks to fill the position as soon as possible with duration through the end of June 2021. To apply, please send your resume and cover letter to nycbp2021@gmail.com.
This campaign is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate based on race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected status or category. Women, people of color, disabled people, and members of the LGBTQ community are strongly encouraged to apply.
