New York City Council Member Brad Lander is seeking a Digital Organizer for his run for New York City Comptroller. The position will start as soon as possible and run through the end of the June 22, 2021 Democratic Primary in New York City.
Brad is running a bold, progressive campaign with the goal of using the tools of the New York City Comptroller's office to achieve a just and durable recovery from the Covid-19 crisis, make city government work better, and build a more just, equitable, and sustainable city that reflects our shared values.
The Digital Organizer will work with the Communications Director and Field Team to engage volunteers, supporters, and voters by email and on social media. We are looking for a smart, creative, hard-working team player, committed to helping our team succeed in a fast-paced environment with a generous and collaborative approach.

Detailed Responsibilities Include:
Generate creative content for social media platforms, including text, graphics and videos that advance the message of the campaign.
Create content, toolkits, and strategies to engage volunteers in amplifying the message of the campaign online.
Assist in creating content and strategies that move supporters into digital or (safe in person) action – particularly canvassing, phonebanking, and peer-to-peer texting.
Propose tactics to expand the campaign's digital reach including potential list growth strategies, tactics to engage more online partners, and innovative uses of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and other outlets.
Collaborate consistently with the Communications and Field Directors to ensure consistent messaging and content that matches our campaign goals.
Other responsibilities and tasks as needed.

Demonstrated expertise in some combination of digital content creation (graphics and video) and willingness to learn and experiment.

Strong follow-up skills, including excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
