Responsibilities include:
Manage a robust grassroots field program, including overseeing day-to-day field operations such as virtual meet and greets, phone banks and community events
Recruit and manage a team of field organizers and volunteers
Utilize VAN to cut complex field universes and turf
Track and report progress toward volunteer recruitment and voter contact goals on a daily basis
Manage voter contact tools, including relational organizing tools
Requirements:
- 2 campaign cycles or other equivalent community organizing experience.
- Staff, intern or volunteer management experience.
- Dynamic personality.
- Strong follow-up skills, including excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to train volunteers to use voter contact systems such as Votebuilder, Thrutalk, Reach, and more.
The ideal candidate will have these qualities:
fluency in Bangla or Urdu; translation skills a plus.
experience in Brooklyn.
Strong ability to take feedback and adapt.
Commitment to progressive values.
Self-starter with great time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally and empathetically, in writing and verbally.
Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a history of working with a generous and collaborative approach.
