Salary Range: $3,500 monthly
Organizers are needed ASAP for a State Senate special election. This position is through January 30th and reports to the Senate Majority Fund Director.
Responsibilities Include:
● Recruit, train and manage volunteers to build a volunteer organization to turn out voters
● Plan and manage direct voter contact activities and volunteer meetings and trainings that account for a remote COVID-19 environment with the potential for in person campaigning
● Strategically organize diverse communities and engage volunteers and voters
● Build and maintain online communities of volunteers and voters
● Amplify the campaign's message, online and offline
● Build a campaign organization in assigned turf or region that reflects the broader community
Minimum Qualifications:
● Exceptionally well organized and proactive, with the ability to meet strict deadlines
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with people from different backgrounds to manage and supervise volunteer teams
● Disciplined and solution-oriented approach to all tasks
● Commitment to honesty and personal integrity
● Access to a vehicle, as well as a valid driver's license
● Must be passionate about electing Democrats
