Job OverviewWe are seeking a Field Director for a Boston Mayoral campaign. In this position you will be a part of the campaigns senior staff, reporting directly to the campaign manager, and oversee a staff of field organizers.
Responsibilities and DutiesAssist in the creation, implementation, and execution of a comprehensive, data driven field plan
Build and manage a field team to execute said complex field plan
Set, meet and exceed benchmarks for voter contact, volunteer recruitment, grassroots engagement and GOTV
Design and standardize best practices for data management using the campaign's voter file software
Establish a strong professional culture within the field organization focused on accountability, specific goals, innovation and sense of purpose
Coordinate field organizing with fundraising operations
Manage the field program budget and logistics in collaboration with senior staff
At least 2 cycles of campaign field experience
Extensive experience with and ability to train on Votebuilder (VAN)
Experience managing and training high performing staffers
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, meeting frequent deadlines
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; successful at motivating staff to meet recruitment and voter contact goals

Experience in digital organizing and conducting and field campaign in a virtual environment
Additional Details
If offered this position, as a result of COVID-19 restrictions, you would likely begin working from home and conducting all campaign business virtually. However as the campaign progresses, and in accordance with all COVID-19 guidelines prescribed at that time, you will likely be asked to begin reporting to work in person.
Compensation
4,000-5,000 a month based on experience
