Candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates is seeking a highly motivated fundraiser to join our team as Finance Director and help us win a competitive Democratic primary.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute aggressive finance plan ahead of the Democratic primary, with potential to stay on through the General Election.
- Staffing the candidate for all fundraising events.
- Manage call time and events program.
- Manage processes for new donor research/outreach and existing donor engagement.
- Manage tracking and maintenance of donor data and other finance metrics; ensure accurate reporting.
- Maintain and oversee compliance workflow to ensure all campaign compliance and reporting requirements are met.
- Regularly interface with campaign stakeholders and partners.
- Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and staffing for fundraising activities.
- Other responsibilities depending on the needs of the campaign.
- Reports to the Campaign Manager.
Qualifications (Required):
- 2 + years campaign finance experience on state legislative race or larger.
- Experience managing candidate call time and planning virtual fundraising events.
- Proficiency with NGP (preferably NGP 8), ActBlue, Excel and Google Drive.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to balance between competing tasks in a fast-paced, demanding environment while maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of campaign finance law and Virginia reporting requirements.
- Willingness to work irregular hours including some nights and weekends.
- Creative thinker with a self-starting attitude.
- Commitment to electing Democrats in Virginia.
- Commitment to establishing a culture of respect and community for our campaign.
Qualifications (Preferred):
- Experience directly managing/staffing a principal.
- Experience building relationships with campaign partners.
- Working knowledge of PAC and digital fundraising.
- Experience fundraising in Virginia.
- Experience with the Virginia Department of Elections filing system, COMET.

The salary range for this position is $3,500-$4,000 per month, commensurate with experience, with a $1,500 win bonus for winning the primary. Salary will be re-evaluated post-primary. Health care stipends are available.
