Borough-wide campaign is seeking full-time Regional Field Directors for a data-driven volunteer field operation.
Regional Field Directors are responsible for building a grassroots network of volunteers capable of turning out enough voters to deliver a margin of victory within their assigned turf.
Manhattan is the largest city in the country and this election will be one of the most competitive and important races of the 2021 election cycle. The June primary election will likely decide the city's next District attorney. RFDs who work in Manhattan this year will be ready to work on competitive races and leading justice movements across the country in 2022 and beyond.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Recruiting, managing and training volunteers and fellows to participate in direct voter contact activities including canvassing, phone banking, and petitioning.
· Meeting and exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly goals including volunteer recruitment dials, volunteer shift recruitment, volunteer shift completion, and volunteer productivity.
· Implement and execute a robust outreach plan and field plan encompassing voter contact, relational organizing, volunteer recruitment, and grassroots development.
· Adhering to a daily reporting schedule.
Qualifications:
· Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to successfully relate to voters and volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds.
· Ability to work independently and in team settings.
· Ability to work long, irregular hours including weekends in a fast-paced, metrics-driven work environment.
· 2+ cycles experience on competitive electoral campaigns with demonstrated experience of managing and training a successful field team.
· Knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN, peer to peer text platforms, Mobilize

$5,200/month
