Erie County, PA Executive race
Full-time, immediate start
Payment: $3,000 p/ month
Reports to: Finance Consultant
A countywide campaign for office in Erie is seeking a finance assistant for a 2021 campaign. The candidate is the first openly trans person to be elected to office in PA.
The Finance Assistant, working under the supervision of the fundraising consultant, will support the day to day fundraising operations of the campaign.
Responsibilities will include preparing for and staffing call time with the candidate, including call follow-up, assisting in organizing and executing fundraising events, processing contributions including managing bank transactions, managing the campaign's database, and assisting in the preparation of campaign finance reports.
The successful candidate will have some knowledge of NGP software, excellent time management, planning, organization and communications skills, will be detail oriented, able to manage multiple projects at once, and have a strong commitment to electing Democrats. Prior campaign experience not required for an exceptional candidate.
This position will be remote until further notice due to COVID-19, but the applicant must live within commuting distance of Erie, PA. Looking for an immediate start.
