We are looking to accept finance and communications internship applications for Kyle for Virginia. Kyle is a progressive Democrat running to be the democratic nominee for Virginias' 68th House of Delegates seat. Read more about Kyle's race and priorities here: kyle4va.com
We ask for a time commitment of at least 10 hours per week for interns. All work will be completed remotely for the time being. Internships are unpaid and we are happy to work with interns to secure academic credit for their work. Students of color are strongly encouraged to apply.
Finance Interns will be responsible for:
Conducting donor research
Virtual event planning and building
Other various responsibilities as assigned by the Finance Director
Qualifications: Strong finance intern applicants will be highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Communications Interns will be responsible for:
Drafting Social Media Posts, Emails, Other forms of campaign outreach
Virtual event planning and building
Other various responsibilities as assigned by the Communications Director
Qualifications: Strong communications intern applicants will be creative, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Bonuses: these skills are not required of intern applicants but are helpful in the interview and hiring process.
Knowledge of NGP
Experience om political campaigns and/or political organizations
Experience with Canva/Adobe InDesign, etc.
Experience with Social media/knowledge of best practices
