[GAINPOWER.org: Jobs That Are Left] Political Director for statewide PA campaign

A Pennsylvania-based statewide campaign is looking to hire a full-time political director beginning in February or March 2021. The committee is seeking a hard-working, self-motivated individual to join its team. (Note: the position is remote for now.)

Qualifications:

-       Minimum two cycles experience of campaign political work

-       Experience coordinating with Faith and Grassroots leaders
-       Experience organizing political events, roundtables and meetings

-       Relationships with key stakeholders, local leaders and opinion makers as well as elected officials
-       Access to reliable transportation (and a valid driver's license)
-       Ability to work non-traditional hours as needed

-       Experience in Pennsylvania politics a significant plus

Responsibilities:

-       Plan and execute a statewide political outreach program

-       Build relationships with local leaders and activists

-       Solicit support of key stakeholders, local leaders and opinion makers as well as elected officials

-       Organize meetings and events with political/community leaders around the state

-       Plan and implement Faith and Grassroots events in key parts of the state to expand the electoral map

-       Assist with other campaign-related activities as needed

Salary is competitive, ranging from $8k-$8.5k/monthly. We are building a diverse campaign team and encourage women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and persons with disabilities to apply.
