Description
The Human Resources and Culture Manager is directly responsible for crucial, people-based initiatives, including recruitment and hiring, onboarding and offboarding, payroll and benefits, all human resource investigations and records, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
This person will report directly to the Head of Operations and People.
Key Responsibilities
Team operations
In tandem with the HOP, coordinate team activities and morale boosters.
Help with scheduling for the leadership team and wider team as needed for project handovers, meetings and more.
Maintain internal weekly newsletter which provides key updates and information for the staff
Approving or denying team time off requests per team OOO request guidelines
Hiring, onboarding, and offboarding
Seek out new, diverse talent by posting openings across the internet.
Move applicants through the hiring process.
Track metrics across team retention and applications to provide insights for leadership and DEI.
Manages employee offboarding, including exit interviews with employee's manager
Diversity, equity and inclusion liaison
Partner with the Diversity Board to help coordinate discussions and any action steps
Keep Diversity Board hours tracking updated, and ensure timely stipend payment
Furnishing resources and requested data, info on processes during Diversity Board meetings
Human resources
As we transition back to a post space in 2022, reimagine our office space to support our team culture.
Coordinate performance reviews for both electoral and permanent staff, supporting the organization's strong culture of feedback
Identify opportunities for culture building or training.
Administrative work
Keep office administration running smoothly
Aid the leadership team with sending out contracts, invoicing and chasing client payments and more.
Put together informative background documents as requested.
Keep Veracity's various online spaces organized.
Experience and Skills
Commitment to establishing a culture of community and respect in the workplace, including the contribution of best practices and a focus on DEI programming
Strong interpersonal skills -- both internally and externally.
Ability to read situations and manage with care.
Great attention to detail.
Proficient in G Suite Products (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Sheets etc).
Familiarity with recruiting and hiring software.
1+ years experience in HR or 1+ year in administrative work. Big plus if you have experience working with remote or distributed teams!
1+ years in DEI programming not required but a major plus. At minimum, have a desire and drive to build an anti-racist, equitable workplace and willingness to aid leadership in implementing and evaluting DEI best practices
Salary and Benefits
The salary range for a full-time Human Resources and Culture Manager is $50 - 60K.

Description
Senior Digital Strategists (SDS) at Veracity have 3+ years of digital-specific experience working for a digital strategy firm, or in house at a political or advocacy campaign, or party committee. They are the ultimate self starters and team players, and are able to work closely with clients, as partners, to build success by understanding digital in the larger campaign context, how to get clients to make decisions that are in their best interest, where their time is most effectively spent, and as a result, run high-performing projects.
Experience and Skills
3+ or more years of experience raising money online for a political or issue-based campaign, nonprofit or democrat allied organization or agency.
1+ years of client-facing experience, preferably with experience managing multiple accounts or projects simultaneously. You know how to earn a client's trust and come on board as a partner.
Experience and proficiency using digital tools, including a CRM system and fundraising tools (ex, ActBlue, NGP, EveryAction, Mailchimp, ActionKit, ControlShift, or others).
Proven curiosity to learn and test new ways of digital fundraising and campaigning — and then share findings teamwide.
Deep experience in writing copy for fundraising. You understand how to motivate donors, and can seamlessly switch between different client voices.
Highly creative, innovative thinker capable of managing all aspects of multiple projects simultaneously including: digital launch, list growth strategy, copywriting, email production, reporting, and analytics.
Ability to work independently but also in a collaborative, innovative, flexible and team-oriented environment. You're prepared for priorities and processes to be fluid and change as Veracity continues to grow.
Comfortable handling a fast-paced, dynamic virtual working environment where your communication with coworkers and clients will be remote. You'll need experience (or a quick willingness to learn!) online collaboration tools like Slack, Wrike, Google Drive, Hangouts, etc.
Proficiency using data to inform strategic recommendations and to determine best practices including experience with ROI and projections reporting.
Day to Day Responsibilities
Serve as "point person" on one to five accounts leading the project team and daily internal and external account management.
Manage the execution and delegation of deliverables for email fundraising, digital advertising, social media, and/or other digital projects as required. This can include:
Development of client email + social content calendars
Drafting compelling content asking for grassroots donations
Code and segment emails to targeted universes on email CRM
Review performance and optimize program based on data
Communicate successes to client and maintain a positive client relationship
Work as part of a team on one to five additional accounts, which includes:
Guiding new staff through company processes
Troubleshooting junior staff problems
Playing a key strategic role internally and externally
Work with senior staff to help identify opportunities for business development and join and participate in client pitch calls.
Work with senior staff to identify internal and external roadblocks and solutions, including within company processes, client relationships, and around issue trends across the firm.
Take initiative to experiment, try new things, and bring fresh perspective to internal and external relationships in collaboration with teammates and senior staff.

The salary range for a full-time Senior Digital Strategist is $59 - 75K.
