We want to express our gratitude to all of you who worked so hard on the 2021 elections be that on a campaign, party, advocacy organization, or consulting firm. We see and appreciate you. We know yesterday had mixed results across the country with some exciting wins and some very disappointing losses. Our top line takeaways are that we have to work harder and smarter to protect and expand our majorities in Congress. We need to focus even more on state races, from Governors down to legislative races and many other important elections. We need to invest more in our farm team candidates and support talent to power campaigns, democracy, elections, and advocacy. We've got some plans in place to help all of you do that including our career center, a conference & expo, and career fair. Powering Blue in 2022 is a series of virtual networking and professional development events, conference, expos, and career fairs to showcase the organizations working to impact our democracy, elections, and advocacy work. Whether you work for a campaign, nonprofit, party, PAC, or consulting firm - these events are to help market your work and showcase your programs and services to talent looking for their next opportunities. GAIN Power has been planning a program and series of events to help connect talent and employers over the next few months. Below, you will find a few of these ways you can engage. Together, we can build teams that will power Democrats and progressives in 2022 and beyond. We are the only place that promotes partisan campaigns, progressive advocacy organizations and consultants who share our values in one place. All jobs posted in our career center syndicate to Google's job search engine. And with some upgrades, your job can be emailed out in our twice monthly job flash that goes to over 20,000 professionals, syndicated out to general job boards focused on diversity and/or veteran hiring, among other options. If you have open jobs, now is one of the best times to get as many views and applicants to get the best talent you can. Make sure to post your job(s) now. Powering Blue in 2022 Conference and Expo Powering Blue in 2022 is a virtual professional conference and networking event series organized by GAIN Power. We are gathering to rally Democratic and Progressive nonprofits, campaigns, PACs, consulting firms, independent artists, cultural content creators, and changemakers. The events will help support organizers and activists looking for career opportunities and to share meaningful ways to impact democracy, elections, and advocacy to win in 2022. We will be hosting events as part of this conference starting November 16th, cumulating in a virtual conference December 9th-11th. Organizations will have the opportunity to host sessions about working at their respective organizations, and sponsor our program to help guide professionals through their next career opportunities. Powering Blue in 2022 Virtual Career Fair Over the past few years, many employers found great employees through our virtual career fairs. These unique events allow you to rapidly meet potential employees in quick one on one text, audio, or video chats. As an employer, you host a virtual booth, with seats for numerous people from your organization, and start chatting with employees as they queue up to meet you. You can even see their resumes while chatting through an intuitive interface, and save interesting candidates for follow up conversations.
