Tomorrow at midnight is the deadline for regular entries for the Powerful IDEA Awards. After midnight, we consider entries late, and the fee increases from $100 to $150 for paid categories. Transformation talent entries stay free. We've seen amazing entries so far, but I'm not going to lie — not as many as we expected by now. There are a few entries I thought would be submitted by now, but we haven't seen them yet! Is yours one of them?
I've heard from a few folks that didn't think they could or don't feel comfortable nominating themselves. If that is still you - trust me - you should enter your work today! Here is the thing, you can't win if you don't enter. And won't you be annoyed when you see others' work that didn't measure up to yours getting recognized??? I admit it — I'm trying to get your competitive juices flowing. For real - so many who do the best work, I think, are too humble. This is not the time for that! You should 100% submit your work in 2022 right now!!!
There are many reasons why so many industries celebrate excellence through awards programs. And what is more important than impacting elections, protecting democracy, and advocating for progressive policy? The Powerful IDEA program is a great way to network and market your work in our community.
