To expand local and national sales in Pittsburgh, D.C. and other national markets by bringing new advertisers to the network, generating new leads, and selling traditional and non-traditional radio program advertisements.
Job Description:The Union Edge Media is looking for Account Executive to fulfill the following needs:
- Develop advertising and vendor relationships, handling clients at various stages in the sales cycle including account updates, weekly projections and forecast of future advertising. Ability to identify prospects, write and pitch proposals and close business
- Generate custom advertising and public education / relations packages with team, negotiate advertising rates, direct creative campaigns and create oral and written presentations.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with buyers, sponsors and clients.
- Develop short and long range plans for revenue growth.
- Research, analyze, and monitor competitive media for new leads.
- Support organized labor, progressive groups and allies.
- Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of media sales.
Required Qualifications:

- Strong verbal, written, listening and phone skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Innovative, creative, and articulate with the ability to instill confidence and credibility.
- Work with Radio Advertising Bureau training and CRM software. (RAB.Com)
- Be personally organized with the ability to prioritize, manage time and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- General computer skills with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and the Internet.
- Compensation: 1099 Small Draw plus commission up to 20% or Commission up to 30% under right conditions.
