Title: Nevada Democratic Party Tracker
Salary: $2,500/Mo.
Location: Carson City, NV
The
tracker will be responsible for recording candidates, events and
rallies, etc. In addition, the tracker is responsible for assisting
with research projects such as collection and transcription. The
associate will share details of tracking opportunities on targeted
candidates; audio and/or video record the events; prepare detailed
memos on the topics covered at the event; and promptly upload the audio
and/or video via a shared YouTube account.
Specific Tasks:
• Collection and research assistance as needed
• Preparing detailed memos on Republican Candidates and Officials
• Searching for, cataloguing and sharing details of events/tracking opportunities
• Confirming event details and candidate attendance and getting technology ready for events
• Filming each public event
• Preparing memos and uploading footage to a public YouTube account Transcribing footage within 24 hours
• Researching and filming other politically relevant events
• Compiling local news stories regarding your targeted candidate as needed
• Other research tasks as needed
Requirements:
• Excellent writing ability and communication skills
• Familiarity with video editing a plus, but not required
• Ability to perform duties under pressure
• Ability to travel extensively at very short notice
• Good time management, planning, troubleshooting, and communications skills;
• Availability during evening and weekend hours
• Willingness to work independently
• A reliable car to get to and from events
