An influential, public policy non-profit is looking to fill an Administrative Assistant job in Washington DC. This think-tank lobbies on economic issues and is known for its progressive, solutions-oriented mission.  The ideal candidate is an energetic administrative professional who is capable of refining processes and has advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills to assist with extensive document production.  This role will directly support their nation-wide lobbying efforts at the state-level and will give you a lot of opportunity to be fully immersed in the policy research.  If you are an organized, team player that wants to work in a positive environment with an organization that makes a difference, this is the position for you.  Salary based on experience (up to $65,000 annually)

Administrative Assistant Job Responsibilities
* Calendar management and extensive document production support including editing reports and proposals
* Assisting with the grants process: Grant development, editing proposals, contacting recipients
* Travel coordination and program support

Qualifications
* 3+ years of administrative experience, preferably on Capitol Hill or in a public policy organization
* Computer Savvy: advanced experience with Microsoft programs and comfortable learning new databases
* Innovative: able to think outside the box and possess the drive to make things happen
* Undergraduate degree preferred
