security and other commercial sectors. Sivananthan Laboratories is
seeking a highly motivated, organized and energetic individual who has a
passion for renewable energy, outreach and marketing, and high-tech
business incubation. The Development and Outreach Associate will report
to the President and be responsible for coordinating special projects
related to solar energy technology, business ventures, operations and
logistics, and community outreach.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Support the President with Sivananthan Laboratories operations and solar energy projects and initiatives;
- Perform technology, market, and policy research regarding solar energy and other technologies;
- Design multimedia presentations and promotional materials for meetings and events;
- Support sales and marketing for solar energy business;
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with a wide range of contacts, including business representatives, partners, community organizations, local and state government officials and community members;
- Coordinate shipping logistics and track inventory;
- Assist with identifying, developing and implementing creative outreach and business development strategies;
- Provide organization visibility through public relations and promotional efforts;
- Maintain all event and meeting records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent;
- Minimum 1-2 years of work experience;
- Experience and interest in technology, and demonstrated technical proficiency preferred;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills;
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously;
- Experience working on community service and outreach activities;
- Demonstrated leadership, organization, team building, problem solving, planning, and implementation experience;
- Social media proficiency (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.);
- Excellent Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) skills and presentation design skills.
