Director of Finance - State Voices in Washington, DC

Director of Finance
Washington, D.C.

About State Voices
State Voices is a national network – built from the states up – that helps grassroots organizations win shared policy and civic engagement victories and build long-term power. Our work is nonpartisan. We believe that America is stronger when all people have a voice in our democracy. Our dream is for 100% of eligible voters to go to the polls on Election Day.
Our network is comprised of 20 state tables. Those state tables are made up of grassroots organizations that come together to mobilize underrepresented voters (such as people of color and young voters), educate citizens on the issues that impact them, and pass policies that improve their states and communities. Since 2008, our network has been a part of unprecedented voter engagement and policy victories. They've worked to increase voter turnout, combat voter suppression efforts, and advocate for policies that are good for low-income families, the LGBT community, the environment and more.
State Voices provides the organizations in our network with the tools and support they need to carry out this critical work. By providing them with cutting-edge tools and technology, expertise on issue and policy fights, critical resources and funds, and the support to build their capacity, we work to strengthen their work.
