ARZA Regional Field Organizer for World Zionist Congress Election – South Florida
The Association of Reform Zionists of America (ARZA) is seeking several regional field organizers for the upcoming World Zionist Congress election campaign. Field Organizers should be high energy, outgoing, enthusiastic, and patient. Run every 5 years, this campaign has tremendous potential for advancing a progressive agenda in Israel and to significantly advance the Reform movement in Israel. This is a temporary position running until April 30, 2015.
Responsibilities include:
· Support and grow a grassroots network of supporters in congregations
· Run education and engagement programs on college campuses and at targeted senior living facilities
· Work to support social media goals through identifying opportunities to promote images and content
· Educate others about the importance of ARZA and the World Zionist Congress
· Other necessary duties to support the campaign
QUALIFICATIONS
· Strong interest in and understanding of organizing, campaigning and politics
· Knowledge and commitment to Reform Judaism and the Reform movement
· Commitment to a progressive, pluralistic and democratic Israel
· 1-2 years relevant organizing experience
