Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leverage our social channels to foster two-way engagement and communication with a diverse audience of talent professionals and industry influencers
- Keep a finger on the pulse of the industry: identify opportunities, issues, trends, and features in the social media space to help our business stay on the leading edge
- Elevate and evolve our social media strategy with an integrated approach that drives maximum results
- Take our social strategy and work hand-in-hand with global and regional partners to localize and optimize
- Develop and execute engaging social media plans for global and local events
- Be the partner-in-crime with our blog team, contributing and promoting blog posts
- Partner with the sales and marketing teams on integrating social into other campaigns and web properties
- Create leverage by identifying and training online ambassadors within the college apps business to help us expand our social footprint and influence
- Optimize social media channels to increase follower base, community engagement, and traffic to our blog and website
- Manage day-to-day publishing, uploading, and monitoring on social media channels
Who You Are: Our goal is to exhibit best practices in the ever-evolving world of social media marketing. You're the kind of person who will relish taking us to new heights.
- You have the maturity and confidence to be a brand ambassador and a community moderator who reflects positively on the MOKO Social Media brand.
- You have at least 3 years of experience using social media to drive results, ideally with some percentage of that in the college, politics, or active lifestyle world, and you're super-passionate about it.
- You know Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat, and Google+ like the back of your hand, while keeping an eye on new and emerging channels, too.
- You've dabbled in paid social (e.g. Twitter and Facebook ads) and can identify opportunities for ROI.
- You can translate creative ideas into successful social media implementations across multiple platforms that pack an ROI punch.
- You like writing and communicating, and you're good at both.
- Given our fast-paced environment, you are flexible, resourceful, and highly organized.
- You have good knowledge of social media technology, analytics, and measurement.
- You're a roll-up-your-sleeves, jump-in-and-collaborate type of gal/guy.
How You'll Measure Success:
- Growth in audience and follower base across social channels
- Engagement metrics (shares, likes, comments) related to social activity
- Influencers reached and engaged
