350.org is looking for a savvy digital campaigner who has skills in offline campaigning, to leverage online tools and grow the impact of the US Anti-Fracking campaign both on and off the web. This is a full-time position with a flexible work location.

Our online campaigns, grassroots organizing, and mass public actions are led from the bottom up by thousands of volunteer organizers in over 188 countries. 350.org works hard to organize in a new way—everywhere at once, using online tools to facilitate strategic offline action. About the US Fracking Digital Campaigner
The US Fracking Digital Campaigner will support the US anti-fracking campaign by growing the reach and impact of fracking-related web projects and deliverables. In addition, the US Fracking Digital Campaigner will assist 350.org's fracking campaign coordinator with web-related projects, overall campaign tactics and strategies. Work will include writing email blasts, managing petitions, setting up webinars, generating social media content, and more.
The Digital Campaigner will be highly tech literate, with experience leveraging online platforms to drive engagement. They will be a driven self-starter, with A+ written and verbal communications skills, a keen sense for campaign dynamics, and a desire to test new tactics and tools. The Digital Campaigner will work closely with both the US Fracking Campaigner and the digital team, and report to the US Fracking Campaign Coordinator.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written communications skills and ability to write for a variety of audiences and platforms
- Knowledge of movement strategy and pressure campaigns of high level targets
- Campaigning experience (paid or unpaid) for 5 or more years
- Professional digital campaigning experience using online platforms to drive campaign engagement
- Knowledge of US anti-fracking and climate movement
- Dedication to anti-racist, anti-oppression, and social justice campaigning.
Desired skills and experiences
- Ability to train others in online tactics and tools
- Fast learner, with a desire to try out new tactics and tools to see what works
- Experience using graphic design programs, such as Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
- Experience using content management systems, such as WordPress
- Knowledge of and experience in climate, anti-extraction, and/or environmental justice campaigns.
- Spanish language skills
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working both independently and in teams, highly responsive, and able to lead initiatives as well as take direction from others.
