Campaign Manager for Top Tennessee State House Race

We are hiring a campaign manager for the top targeted state house race in Tennessee. Gloria Johnson is a progressive candidate in Knoxville, TN who won the seat in 2012, but after serving one term, lost her bid for re-election in 2014 by merely 183 votes.   This is the #1 take back opportunity in Tennessee in this cycle.  

Responsibilities include: 

1) Managing campaign staff, a large number of volunteers and working with a top-tier consulting team. 

2) Applicants must be comfortable with setting fundraising goals with candidate and finance team and overseeing a robust communications and field program.

3) Executing all aspects of a winning campaign plan. 

 
Desired Qualifications:  

-At least one cycle of campaign experience as manager, deputy or equivalent.  Must have some experience managing staff. 

-Attention to detail, organization, determination, creativity, and good sense of humor a must.

- Reports directly to the candidate and consulting team.

Field, data and fundraising experience are priorities.
