Jay Inslee for Washington is looking for a motivated individual to be the Digital Coordinator. We need someone who is willing to work hard and commit themselves to reelecting our Governor, Jay Inslee.
Digital responsibilities include:
The Digital Coordinator will play an integral role in the Communications Department of the Inslee campaign, ensuring our campaign gets our message out effectively in the digital space.
Specifically, you will:
· Work with the campaign's online consulting team to develop strategy and goals for the email program
· Coordinate written, video, design, and development content
· Update, maintain, coordinate and develop web site, e-mail, various online social platform outreach, and other digital initiatives
· Work with all areas of the campaign to better integrate online programming
· Investigate ways in which the campaign can use new media tools to broaden and strengthen the candidate's reach and presence
Minimum requirements and skills needed:
· At least one election cycle in the digital media/digital organizing; preference to campaign experience
· An ability to juggle multiple projects at once
· Experience writing social media copy
· Production, graphic design experience, and strong writing skills are essential
· Experience designing graphics with Photoshop or Illustrator
· Experience shooting and editing video with Final Cut
· Familiarity with HTML or content management
· Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Be willing to work long, irregular hours
· Have excellent organizational skills
· Be able to multi-task and work well under pressure
· Ability to prioritize and plan work activities
· Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
This isn't a clock-in, clock-out sort of job. We're looking for someone who is willing to go the extra mile to make the difference. You will be expected to work on some evenings and weekends.
