We are a Democratic fundraising firm located in Washington, DC, specializing in federal Senate and non-profit fundraising. Our work entails National and DC fundraising, through event planning, donor prospecting, call time and travel. Our clients include several incumbent Senators, two top tier 2016 Senate races and others.
Our firm is seeking a staff assistant with prior internship or campaign finance experience to assist associates in day to day responsibilities. Tasks would include preparing briefings, event materials, managing internship program and interacting with donors. This is an entry level position with a commitment through the 2016 election, after which opportunities for promotion may be available.
This is a full-time job that can require employees to attend fundraising events in the mornings and evenings.
Required Experience
· Bachelor's Degree
· Relevant Internship or Work Experience
Required Skills
· Knowledge of and experience with NGP database is required
· Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively within a flexible and adapting work environment.
· Strong verbal and written communications skills.
· Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain systems for record keeping and reporting.
