Senate Victory, the arm of the Florida Democratic Party responsible for running state Senate campaigns, is seeking Campaign Managers for the 2016 cycle. With redistricting nearly complete, Senate Victory will be running the largest operation in its history. We need qualified managers to run targeted state Senate campaigns in North, South and Central Florida. These are high-budget campaigns and applicants must have experience managing staff and working directly with the candidate. Previous management experience is strongly preferred as is previous finance experience. Ideal candidates will have worked in a paid capacity on at least three campaigns, the ability to relocate to varied parts of Florida, a bachelor's degree, proficiency in NGP/VAN, a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, the ability to pass a background check, and a willingness to work long, irregular hours and holidays. We are not seeking consultants and outside employment is prohibited. Florida ties are preferred by not required. A working knowledge of state campaign finance laws and regulations are preferred. A sense of humor and the ability to work with varying personalities is desired. No egos or self-promoters. These are ideal positions for finance professionals to transition to management, and report directly to the Senate Victory Political Director and Regional Coordinator in each region. | |||||||||||||||||
