Senate Victory, the arm of the Florida Democratic Party responsible for running stateSenate campaigns, is seeking field organizers for the 2016 cycle. These positions will be for state Senate races in Miami-Dade County.
A field organizer will be responsible for executing the field plan, managing paid canvassers, recruiting volunteers, cutting turf and directly supervising the day to day execution of a comprehensive field plan.
An Ideal candidate possesses the following skills:
Proficient in NGP/VAN, Microsoft Office and Google Drive
Ability to be a self-starter who is able to work toward multiple goals
Ability to manage people
Ability to speak and write Spanish
In addition a candidate must:
Be willing to relocate throughout Florida
Have transportation
Be able to work long irregular hours and weekends
Field organizer positions report directly to the Senate Victory Regional Coordinator in their respective regions and ultimately to the Senate Victory Field Director.
