PowerPAC+ Seeking Online Organizer
PowerPAC+, a new national network and political action committee comprised of progressive small donors is hiring an Online Organizer and Database Manager to work out of its San Francisco office.
PowerPAC+, is a political action committee and national network focused on democratizing money and politics to give voice to America's New Majority. Using high-tech and high-touch methods, PowerPAC+ provides progressive people across the country the opportunity to coordinate resources and direct them to strategic races, supporting emerging progressive candidates in states where the demographic revolution can change the political balance of power. Among these candidates are U.S. Senator Cory Booker, Texas State Rep Mary Gonzalez and Stockton City Councilman Michael Tubbs.
Most recently, we launched PowerPAC+ Chair Steve Phillips's new book, "Brown is the New White: How the Demographic Revolution Created a New American Majority." The book was well-reviewed and widely praised among the progressive community.
PowerPAC+ is powered by PowerPAC.org, its affiliated c4 organization that has worked for ten years to build political power for social justice in California and, most recently nationally, by increasing civic engagement and voter turnout among people of color. In the 2008 primaries, PowerPAC conducted the largest independent political effort in the country in 15 states in support of Obama and has coordinated campaigns and independent expenditure efforts to help elect key emerging leaders including California Attorney General Kamala Harris, Riverside Congressman Mark Takano, San Diego Congressman Scott Peters, and New Jersey Senator Cory Booker.
