The Director of Strategic Communications supports the organization's communications plan by developing and implementing national, regional and local media relations programs focused on Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF). Serves as the organization's primary contact to the news media and ensures the planning, direction, implementation and measurement of all strategic media relations and communications efforts. Develops and implements a national media communications strategy to increase the visibility of TMCF as subject matter experts, in addition to enhancing TMCF's reputation as the premier organization supporting Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Performs other duties as assigned or directed to meet the goals and objectives of the organization. 4-6 years in public affairs preferred. Ideal start date: July 1.
