The Sierra Club is looking for a Campaign Analyst/Electric Sector focused on monitoring the factors that impact coal retirements and drive clean energy. The Electric Sector Analyst will provide technical support, quantitative analysis, and strategic recommendations for our ground-breaking Beyond Coal campaign. This nationwide grassroots effort to eliminate U.S. coal's contribution to global warming no later than 2030 and replace the existing coal infrastructure with a clean energy economy needs a data-driven individual to provide quantitative analysis of internal and external factors effecting Campaign strategy, targets, and outcomes. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and will have an MBA, MPA or relevant Masters degree with a concentration in energy policy, and working knowledge of quantitative analysis, statistics, database management, economics and/or finance.
