The ideal candidate for the Director position should be a creative strategist, seasoned manager, and gifted writer. You know how to connect and engage with community leaders, pitch great stories, and draft well-argued blog posts on behalf of some of the most interesting changemakers on the planet. You are an expert on how to leverage social media from developing engaging content, to analyzing metrics, to identifying strategies and tactics that will lead to positive impact. You are as able to guide clients through a planning matrix and as you are troubleshooting a challenging situation requiring course correction. Internally, you are a capable project manager and a catalyst of creativity, dedication, and excitement. You should have at least eight to ten years of experience in a public relations or social media firm or in a communications role in the advocacy, political, nonprofit, or social impact sectors.
PR & Company is a San Francisco based communication strategy firm. This is a full-time staff position. Full-time employees enjoy generous benefits. The salary for this position is competitive and dependent on experience.
