Position Description:
As a member of our Events and Marketing team, you will educate homeowners about the benefits of going solar! You will attend events across Long Island, enthusiastically spreading our message of economic savings and positive environmental impact. Working with other members of the event team in a positive, fun atmosphere, you will support our mission and help homeowners to begin the transition to a cleaner, more affordable source of energy.
Responsibilities:
- Research, attend and sometimes plan various events across Long Island, including but not limited to: Home shows, street fairs, festivals, networking events, etc.
- Clearly communicate Level Solar's value proposition to potential customers, driving leads and appointments for our sales team
- Help to spread our message: Economic savings and positive environmental impact
- Significantly contribute in brand-building, public relations and marketing events for the company
- Become and be the brand, representing Level Solar positively in everything you do
- Additional duties required as needed
Requirements:
- Passionate about renewable energy, specifically solar, and able to communicate its importance to prospective customers
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Thrive in a team environment
- A positive, enthusiastic, friendly and professional demeanor
- Able and willing to travel for events---Candidates MUST have a car
- Able and willing to work events on weekends
Compensation:
This is a full time, benefits eligible sales position. Level Solar offers attractive compensation and generous benefits including healthcare, stock-options, and a 401(k)
