[jobsthatareLEFT] DFL House Caucus hiring organizers in Minnesota

 Field Organizers will, in their assigned House Districts:

o   Implement the Caucus voter contact program, including voter identification, persuasion, and Get Out The Vote efforts.

o   Offer support to endorsed candidates and their campaigns.

o   Recruit, train, and manage volunteers and interns.

o   Perform other duties as assigned by the Field Director.

·      Ideal candidates will have:

o   Dedication to DFL values and principles.

o   Experience with field or community organizing (such as voter registration or get-out-the-vote drives).

o   Highly tuned communication skills and proficient computing skills, including VAN and Microsoft Office tools    

o   Ability to maintain nontraditional working hours.

o   An insured vehicle for travel in an assigned geographic region.

 

Compensation is competitive plus benefits and certain expense reimbursements will be provided. We are looking for candidates willing to relocate to competitive districts throughout the state.
