Field Director on Northeast Statewide Campaign
A progressive candidate running for statewide office in the Northeast is looking for qualified applicants to quickly build and manage a statewide field program for a highly contested primary campaign later this year.
Responsibilities:
- Work with campaign team to build efficient, goal-oriented field program
- Create positive environment for organizers/interns and use goals to keep them on track.
- Recruit and manage volunteers.
- Set, meet, and exceed metric-driven benchmarks for voter contact, volunteer recruitment, and GOTV.
- Help plan and execute house parties, GOTV rallies, and represent the campaign at events.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 cycles of experience in field.
- Experience managing volunteers and navigating political relationships.
- Highly organized and scrappy – can manage themselves and others.
- Strong communications and organizational skills, ability to work independently, multi-task, and work long and irregular hours.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Experience with an early vote program is a plus.
