Field Director
The Weeks for New Hampshire campaign is seeking a full-time Field Director starting July 2016 to lead the field, voter contact and volunteer engagement components of the campaign for Executive Council in District 5 through Election Day in November 2016. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Work with the campaign manager to draft and then execute the field plan, and make changes as needed.
Work closely with the campaign manager and candidate to achieve key goals and tasks on a daily basis.
Build, manage, and enhance relationships with active and prospective volunteers.
Recruit, train, and manage volunteers and fellows to engage in door-to-door canvassing, phone banking, and hold regional events to persuade and turn out voters for the September primary and November general elections
Serve as an ambassador for the candidate and represent the campaign at public meetings and events.
Lead the data team to ensure turf cutting and data entry is done on schedule.
Manage field staff, set goals, and keep staff accountable.

Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Docs;
Strong proficiency with NGPVAN and DNC Votebuilder required
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
The campaign is looking for a Field Director with legislative advocacy, and/or grassroots organizing experience equivalent to 1-2 cycles of campaign experience at the Field Organizer, Regional Field Organizer, Regional Field Director, or Field Director level. Must have own reliable transportation, laptop, and smart phone. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, including strong academic credentials, is preferred. Experience managing volunteers and staff is preferred. Knowledge of New Hampshire and the 5th district is preferred.
