DFL Phone Room Manager
Description:
The Minnesota DFL Party is seeking a qualified candidate to manage the internal call center located at the DFL Party headquarters in Saint Paul, MN. As a part of managing the call center, the manager will be responsible for building and developing a team of outbound telemarketers who will reach out across the state for small dollar donations. The manager will work with the telemarketers to insure and hold them accountable for hitting goals. This position is full time and reports to the DFL Party Finance Department. The phone room currently operates Monday through Thursday, 6:00PM – 9:00PM and Sunday 4:00pm – 8:00PM. Hours of operation may change through the election season.

Job Responsibilities:
-Must be available Monday – Thursday 1:00PM – 9:00PM, and Sunday 3:00PM – 8:00PM
-Recruiting, hiring, and training new phone room employees that can meet goals and targets set forth by the Finance Department.
-Managing the payroll and hours of phone room employees.
-Supervising the phone room during the hours of operation and providing assistance and support to the phone room team.
-Communicating back results and goals to the Finance Department.
-Tracking individual employee progress and development.
-Developing and implementing an on-going training process that will improve employee capacity.
Requirements:
-Campaign or fundraising experience.
-Experience managing staff.
-Must be a leader.
-Must have a positive and can-do attitude.
-Must be a DFL Party supporter.
-Must be a good communicator.
-Excel and Microsoft Word experience preferred.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience.
