IMMEDIATELY HIRING Regional Field Director – League of Conservation Voters in OH!
On behalf of League of Conservation Voters, Progressive Organizing Solutions is hiring a regional field director in Ohio for a large-scale membership mobilization volunteer program to help elect Hillary Clinton for President and Ted Strickland for US Senate. The regional field director will be based out of Columbus and will manage organizers and oversee LCV member mobilization in the Columbus area.
The RFD will manage and train organizers in the program as they recruit, engage and mobilize LCV members as volunteers through Election Day. Successful candidates will have at least two cycles of community, issue, labor, or political organizing, excellent communication and organizational skills, strong written and oral communication skills and work well in a team.
The position requires staff management, reliable transportation and a willingness to work evening and weekend hours. The RFD position is full-time, salaried and temporary through November 15, 2016.
