The Complaint Investigation Officer in the Department of Civil Rights will implement equal opportunity compliance and related human relations programs, and respond to complaints from the public who believe that they have been subjected to discriminatory treatment.

 

Required Education

Bachelor's degree, with coursework in areas related to assigned duties, or equivalent.

 

Required Experience

Two years of experience performing directly related duties in the Civil Rights field or equivalent; equivalent combinations of training and experience may qualify.

 

Licenses/Certifications

Valid driver's license.

 

Desirable Qualifications -- Language

High level of proficiency/fluency in Spanish, Hmong or Somali preferred.
