A Finance Director is needed in a highly competitive 2017 mayoral race. The Finance Director will work closely with the candidate and campaign team to oversee and implement call-time programs, low-and-high dollar events, low dollar phone program, and donor prospecting and research. Other core functions will include oversight of administrative duties as needed. Must be in-region or willing to relocate by early April. This campaign has the capacity to raise a significant amount of money and will provide strong credentials for someone looking to work a high-profile 2018 race.
Finance Director Responsibilities Include:
· Execute finance plan including call time, research, and events
· Manage finance interns and volunteers
· Manage candidate call-time
· Staff candidate at finance-related events as necessary
· Manage prospect and donor follow-up
· Coordinate finance compliance to ensure proper, orderly administration of contributions
· Drafting correspondence including solicitation and thank you emails and letters
Finance Director Qualifications Include:
· Strong knowledge of NGP
· At least two cycles of campaign work, at least one of which was in finance
· Experience managing candidate call-time
· Impeccable attention to detail and follow up
· Well organized and self-directing
· Strong writing and editing skills
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Must be willing to work campaign hours
