Applicant should have at least one to three cycles of experience working in finance and should have knowledge and ability regarding the following:
- writing and implementing an aggressive campaign finance plan.
- donor research.- writing and implementing an aggressive campaign finance plan.
- establishing and meeting fundraising goals.
- planning, scheduling and implementing call time.
- building, implementing and managing an email fundraising program.
- managing a pledge and thank you letter program.
- event planning, implementation and follow up.
- managing Act Blue and NGP.
- filing timely and accurate compliance reports.
- managing candidate time and schedule.
- maintaining donor database.
A successful applicant will be prepared to work campaign hours, often times involving weekends and late nights. Race is located in Hampton Roads area. Campaign Finance Director will work with and report to the Campaign Manger on a daily basis.
