SUMMARY:
The many demands and commitments facing our President make his time a precious commodity, and the job of the Assistant to the President is to support The President and his team in managing that resource. The Assistant to the President is to strategically help the President move from one location to another in a way that maximizes his strengths while driving the goals and objectives of him and the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Over 50% travel required
- Be quick on his/her feet and able to maneuver multiple information resources provided by the scheduling team
- Oversee all the local travel plans by strategically planning travel routes
- Work with the scheduling team to manage NextGen Climate related travel, events and meetings
- Administrative duties as needed
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Bilingual, fluent in Spanish, strongly preferred
- Have strong appetite in American politics and/or clean energy policy
- Be able to lift 25 lbs
- Be tactful, professional, discreet, trustworthy and courteous
- Love a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Patience and a good sense of humor highly valued
- Bachelor degree preferred
- Electoral campaign experience highly desired
