Job Purpose: The Junior Associate is responsible for a combination of management of the physical and digital archival records and support for the client services team.


Necessary Qualifications: A minimum of one year of prior work experience and/or campaign experience (paid or volunteer) is desired. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to multi-task, have a professional demeanor, strong writing capabilities, experience collaborating with colleagues and the ability to work under pressure to meet firm deadlines. Must have strong organizational skills. Experience in archiving a plus.


The Junior Associate maintains and organizes both the digital Samples Database and the physical Samples Archive under the oversight of the Production Manager. In addition, the Junior Associate serves in a support role to Associates and Consultants on multiple projects simultaneously. A Junior Associate should possess the skills and qualifications to accomplish the following tasks.


Physical Archive Management

  • Receive, organize and file physical samples as they arrive from print vendors

  • Proactively track and procure missing samples from print vendors

  • Assist staff with searches for archived materials

  • Coordinate and execute biannual migrations to the basement storage units


Digital Samples Database Management

  • Add and update all production work into the online Samples Database

  • Work with staff to upload digital versions of each production piece into the Samples Database

  • Ensure all uploaded data is complete and correct


Client Service Support

  • Assemble marketing packets for potential clients

  • Assist with the creation of marketing materials and coordination for marketing events and conferences

  • Other ongoing client, Associate, Consultant and Partner support related to the project to ensure the client's success


Materials Production

  • Work with the graphic design team, Partner, Consultant and Associate to create client deliverables, including direct mail

  • Create first drafts of any needed client products, as requested, including timelines, presentations, talking points, FAQs or handouts

  • Work with the Production Department to ensure that all details are attended to and deadlines are met for the production of all materials

  • Under the direction of the Partner, Consultant and Associate, complete all edits and design changes to achieve final approval of all materials
