Lead Field Organizer


A local Mayoral campaign is hiring an exceptional Lead Field Organizer to support voter mobilization for an upcoming primary race. The program infrastructure will span the City of Cincinnati, OH and work to engage, organize, and empower local neighborhoods in order to build a durable organization to help lead us to victory.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Managing a team of 2 part time organizers

  • Door to Door Canvassing

  • Making high volumes of Volunteer Recruitment Calls

  • Reaching voter contact goals

  • Running voter outreach efforts

  • Cutting Turf, Pulling Lists

  • Training volunteers

  • Managing Fellows and Interns

  • Reaching out to organizations, clubs, churches, and Democratic groups


Required Skills:

  • 2 Cycles of campaign experience

  • Strong enthusiasm for Electoral Politics

  • Time management and organization skills

  • Ability to train and instruct

  • Excellent listening skills and ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally

  • Strong organizational, management, and interpersonal skills

  • Experience in setting and achieving measurable targets, managing teams, and coordinating between multiple stakeholders

  • Ability to handle multiple priority projects and meet established timelines

  • Ability to execute strategic goals and work effectively with regional and local leaders

  • Experience with Nationbuilder Preferred

  • Ability to lift and carry at least 25lbs**

  • Comfortable with technology**

  • Long Non-traditional hours, 7 days a week 10 - 12 hour days

  • Ability to travel**
