Raise Up Massachusetts (RUM) is seeking a fundraising consultant to coordinate its fundraising efforts to move forwards its campaigns on Paid Family Medical Leave, a $15 Minimum Wage, and the Fair Share Amendment.
RUM is a grassroots coalition of community organizations, religious groups, and labor unions committed to building an economy that works for all of us. An economy that invests in families, gives everyone the opportunity to succeed, and creates broadly shared prosperity.
We are united to ensure Massachusetts continues to be a great place to live, work, and raise a family. Whether motivated by our democratic values or our religious faith or both, we recognize that our fates are connected, we are one community, and we all do better when we all do better.
The fundraising consultant will be responsible for:
· Researching and identifying prospective donors independently and in consultation with the Raise Up steering committee
· Coordinating the fundraising work and priorities of RUM steering committee members
· Building Raise Up Massachusetts's finance committee
· Expanding RUM's digital fundraising program with the goal of expansion
· Organizing bi-monthly Raise Up Massachusetts fundraising events
The consultant should plan on starting by April 15th and the contract will go through the calendar year at $3,750 a month.
Interested candidates should send project proposals, client list to info by April 1st, 2017 to info@raiseupma.org. Also, feel free to follow up with any questions to that same address.
