Position Summary:
LEE seeks Coordinator(s) to support our team(s) as they play a critical role in our ability to serve our members and achieve our mission. Coordinator(s) typically report to a staff member who sits on the team's leadership and works to support both the Vice President and the team. They manage logistical, operational, communication, and technical details for the team(s). This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals who possess strong organizational and project management experience. Additionally, this role provides many opportunities to hone professional skills, build knowledge, and gain unique perspectives by working alongside ambitious colleagues and dynamic senior leaders.
This role requires exceptional attention to detail, as well as an ability to create systems and document best practices to ensure that we are constantly learning, improving, and developing ways to work more efficiently. The Coordinator needs to exercise strong judgment in responding to questions, troubleshooting problems, and flagging issues for other team members as needed. In order to be successful, the Coordinator will also need to build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including other staff at LEE, our members, Teach For America staff, and other partner organizations.

Responsibilities:
- Support the Vice President and potentially other team members with scheduling, travel, and expense reports
- Manage and enhance efficiency of team-wide organizational systems, including contracts and invoices, team communications, and technology set-up
- Conduct regular data audits in Salesforce, manage input of organizing career data, and perform data analysis as needed
- Coordinate logistics for all team meetings and calls, and support logistics for team programming
- Support the team's infrastructure and culture by assisting with team meetings and retreats
- Works on special projects, ranging from research to supporting the team in hiring for open roles
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Demonstrated interest or experience in organizing, civic engagement, policy and advocacy, or politics, at any level
- Exceptional organizational skills and orientation to detail
- Ability to draft effective, streamlined and error-free communications
- Experience coordinating multiple projects with diverse stakeholders and tight deadlines
- Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong research skills
- Strong creativity and ability to implement innovative ideas to improve process management
- High proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce
- Experience supporting a senior leader
- Two years of work experience in a fast-paced, geographically dispersed work environment
