Position:  Finance Director
Reports to: Campaign Manager

Democratic candidate for governor seeks Finance Director for 2018 cycle. Seeking someone with a passion for must win races and the ability to juggle multiple tools in a very expensive primary race.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Write, implement and revise a finance plan that outlines income by tool and by month
  
• Outlines the resources, tools and other needs necessary to meet all agreed upon fundraising goals
  
• Manage leadership members of the finance team and fundraising consultants
  
• Hold weekly finance staff meetings that assist finance staff and consultants in understanding the direction of the campaign, the finance goals and facilitating the teamwork of the entire team
  
• Establishes a daily reporting tool for all pledges and income generated by the finance staff, surrogates, and the candidate.
  
• Report the results of all fundraising and cash flow to Campaign Manager, including coordinating a campaign spending budget that meshes with the income budget for both the campaign and the coordinated campaign and DGA commitments
  
• Approves all final electronic and printed fundraising materials.
  
• Work with the scheduling department ensuring appropriate amount of time is spent on call time, events, national travel, and other fundraising demands
  
• Work with the compliance department to ensure timely entry of all contributions, and legal and reporting requirements are met
  
• Ensure all donors are thanked on a weekly basis 

Ideal candidates will have two cycles of campaign fundraising experience, one cycle in a leadership role.  Knowledge of Wisconsin politics and campaign finance laws a plus. Excellent excel skills, understanding of NGP Software, passion and commitment to defeating Scott Walker a must.
