Congressional Campaign Manager (Southwest Michigan)
Campaign Manger position for a Red to Blue Congressional race in November 2018. Start date: July 1, 2017 or as soon as practical.
Campaign Manager responsibilities include:
- · Participate in finalizing the campaign strategic plan and budget
- · Execution of the campaign plan
- · Scheduling candidate's time
- · Draft communication, endorsement, and outreach materials
- · Ensuring campaign stays on budget
- · Managing campaign staff, interns, and volunteers
- · Regular formal and informal reports
- · Travel with candidate to events as needed
Campaign Manager Qualifications:
- · Previous campaign experience
- · Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- · Demonstrated leadership ability
- · Demonstrated independent problem-solving skills
- · Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication
- · Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- · Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
- · Ability to work long and weekend hours
- · Ability to relocate to Southwest Michigan for the remainder of the campaign
