CAMPAIGN FUNDRAISING STAFF!

Republican Congressman Ryan Zinke gave up his Montana Congressional seat to become Donald Trump's Secretary of the Interior. Zinke was succeeded by Greg Gianforte.

Gianforte achieved national attention when he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault from his attack on The Guardian report Ben Jacobs.  Gianforte was sentenced to community service, anger management training and a fine.  

He is now running for re-election, and Lynda Moss is taking him on.

Lynda Bourque Moss is running for Congress in the at-large seat in Montana.  She previously served two terms in the Montana State Senate and as former Majority Whip. Lynda focused on policies ranging from historic preservation and social justice to planning and health care. 

Lynda has served on several boards of directors including Friends of Montana PBS, Montana Governor's Tourism Advisory Council, and the American Association of Museums. She is the recipient of several awards including the Montana Governor's Humanities Award, The Wilderness Association's Brass Lantern Award, and the National Park Service's National Conservation Hero Award.

A resident of Billings, Moss holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, a master's degree from University of Northern Iowa and a Master of Fine Arts degree from Montana State University.

Lynda's campaign is now hiring fundraising staff.  Prior campaign and fundraising experience is not required.  This job would be an excellent opportunity for recent college/law school graduates and others who are interested in pursuing a career in Democratic politics or looking for a once in a lifetime experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Traveling and working directly with Lynda
  • Organizing and coordinating fundraising events
  • Compiling and analyzing data, research
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans

  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be able to write clearly and concisely
  • Be able to balance and prioritize multiple projects
  • Have proven organizational skills
  • Be personable and enjoy working with others
  • Be comfortable communicating on the telephone
  • Ideally, have database experience
