This position is for a Red to Blue Congressional race in November 2018. The position will begin around November 15. This is not an entry level position and previous campaign finance experience is required.
Finance duties will include:
· Staffing candidate during call time and meetings
· Overseeing donor research operation
· Assisting campaign manager in execution/development of finance plan
· Execution and development of local and national events program
· Tracking of resources and projections of funds raised
· Managing finance team and interns
The ideal applicant will have:
· A commitment to Democratic politics
· Campaign finance experience
· High-level writing and speaking ability
· The ability to work long and weekend hours
· The ability to relocate to Virginia for the remainder of the campaign
· A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle and a personal computer
· Experience with NGP, Google Drive, and Microsoft operating suite
·
Preferable candidates will have:
· Ability to manage multiple tasks at once and quickly change focus
· High organizational ability
· Virginia ties
Campaign Offerings:
· Salary commensurate with experience
