Job:
Finance Director for a competitive Governor's race in South Carolina. Progressive, well connected, hard-working candidate looking for an experienced, dedicated and creative Finance Director in a state poised to be flipped from Red-to-Blue in 2018. Start date is ASAP.
Responsibilities:
- Craft, manage and execute strategic finance plan including fundraising
goals and strategy with focus on call time and events.
- Implement an aggressive call time program and other activities to meet targets and deadlines.
- Expand new donor networks and conduct donor outreach/maintenance.
- Manage and train finance staff, interns and volunteers.
- Organize, execute, and help staff fundraising events.
- Manage follow up on all correspondence and pledges.
- Manage a Finance Committee and craft a plan with aggressive goals.
Qualifications:
- 1+ cycles of campaign finance experience, preferably as Finance Director.
- Must have call time experience, donor prospecting, and research.
Experience:
- Experience managing events preferred.
- Experience managing staff preferred
- Knowledge of NGP, ActBlue and Excel.
- Working knowledge of campaign finance law
- Prior experience with targeting contributors and follow up management.
Additional:
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organized.
- Willingness to work campaign hours.
- A positive attitude and sense of humor.
- The willingness to go above and beyond to deliver tangible results.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
