[jobsthatareLEFT by GAIN] Jessica Morse for Congress (CA-04) Organizers

Hello all!

The Jessica Morse for Congress campaign is hiring Field Organizers for an aggressive grassroots field program to flip a Congressional District that has been controlled by Republicans since 1993. This district encompasses 10 counties and includes Lake Tahoe, Yosemite National Park, and some of the Sacramento suburbs. Our candidate is a 5th generation Northern Californian, has over a decade of experience in National Security, and is committed to running a community-driven campaign. We are looking for passionate, hardworking individuals who are dedicated to helping elect Jessica Morse in a DCCC-targeted race.

Role Overview

Organizers will be responsible for various tasks focused on community engagement and capacity building. Organizers should be community-oriented, enthusiastic, and willing to work long hours. Candidates with experience recruiting and training volunteers are preferred. Organizers will report to the Field Director. No prior campaign experience required.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Including, but not limited to:


·      Recruit, train, and manage fellows and volunteers and expand the volunteer network

·      Plan and manage phone banks, canvasses, and voter registration drives


·      Knock on doors, make phone calls, and register voters


·      Help create a program that is inclusive and represents CA-04

Required Skills & Background

·   Exceptionally well organized with the ability to meet strict deadlines

·   Excellent written and verbal communication skills


·   Disciplined and solution-oriented approach to all tasks


·   Must have access to a vehicle and a cellphone

·   Commitment to electing Jessica Morse as the next Congresswoman for CA-04
